  1. We're in the process of moving to Colorado! The Denver area to be more precise, so please allow a little extra time for delivery, and a lot more mail orders than the handshakes and personal attention.

  2. I've added new photographs from Glacier National Park and the Canadian Rockies: Yoho, Banff, and Jasper National Parks. Enjoy!
  3. I have a new show coming up in October through December at the Cerner Corporation Vision Center in North Kansas City.
  4. It's been a long month mostly putting time into the web site and making promotional material, along with some additional events where I was showing my art. I've been preparing for a trip with some new equipment, hiking with a new pack. I did manage to take a nice 7 mile walk with the full weight off all my camera equipment as a test run. I've posted four images as tests on usefilm if you wanted to look at them. www.usefilm.com/artist/kmoto
  5. Yesterday I was down at the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association preparing for a three month showing of work in their offices. For my presentation I created a DVD of my portfolio, so if you are a serious fan of my photography, please drop me a note and I can mail you a DVD with all of the current best photographs set to the music of Jeff Barrett, a talented local artist. For those of you that want to watch the same show on the computer, I also have video CDs of the same presentation in higher quality.
  6. The launch of this website marks the continuation of a photographic career that evolved from taking photographs on vacation while I was growing up. Working on the high school yearbook, getting a bachelor of fine arts at the School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan, and a reinvigorated interest in photography through usefilm.com has lead to a body of work that I now feel is worth putting online. This is the completion of the first phase of this exciting project (five days). I’m very grateful for the generous support of photographers around the world and colleagues at my current job. Subscribe to the RSS feed in the upper right of this window to get updates. I can only hope that you enjoy the site. Updating the look and feel is fairly simple, so if you think I need to change anything drop me a note. Michael
